Our Roots

Corecompass began as a shared vision among a group of thinkers and practitioners deeply concerned with the ethical implications of emerging technologies and the future of humanity. Witnessing the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence and the increasing interconnectedness of our world, we felt a strong need to cultivate a space for thoughtful reflection and collaborative action. It was born from a desire to ensure that progress aligns with core human values.

Initially, Corecompass started as a series of workshops and discussions focused on exploring ethical frameworks for AI development. These gatherings brought together experts from diverse fields, including philosophy, psychology, computer science, and the arts. As the community grew, it became clear that a more structured approach was needed to amplify our impact. This led to the development of the Arktis–Mars Strategy, a guiding model for nurturing ethical awareness and promoting responsible innovation.
